I love when I come across a product I can totally see myself using! This week I have collaborated with Avery Australia/New Zealand to road test their printable labels perfect for SO many uses around the home and especially for a small business. I decided I’d lend my hand to a little DIY and create a beautiful bath soak using products I had at home. I used the Avery online software and glossy labels to make my glass jars look extra spesh and of course profresh!
The Avery labels are the real hero of this DIY. I was super impressed with Avery’s online software (that’s totally free I might add) for creating professional labels for products, to pantry labels, file stickers and more. I know what it’s like when you’re in business for yourself and you need to keep costs down. If you’re an artist, creative maker or entrepreneur finding products that not only look professional but don’t cost you the earth is a big win-win. The Avery Premium Gloss Labels I used in my DIY were easy to use and the online templates made it easy for me to print multiple labels without the hassle of worrying how to line my document up correctly!
I didn’t use any fancy designer programs to create my own labels just the online label designer. I would highly recommend checking these guys out when you next need to create a label for your products!
DIY floral bath soak with essential oils
I really tried to use products I already has at home to create this super simple bath soak (perfect for a gift) but most of these are available on the cheap if you do need to stock up. I used:
- Epsom salt (you can get it by the box full at your local supermarket)
- Dried rose petals (I used some dried rose petals from my own garden)
- Essential oils (I used doTERRA lavender and frankincense for extra bath-time zen). Of course the oils aren’t 100% necessary if you don’t have them as the floral tones really come out in the dried flowers too.
You can add as little or as much of these ingredients as you like. Use a glass jar you have at home, print your labels with Avery (I used their Premium Glossy White Rectangular Labels you can grab a set of 140 from Officeworks for less than $20) and you’re good to go!
PS. Avery are currently running a killer online promotion until July 31st where you could win an Apple Watch just by sharing your creative tips on how to use Avery Products! For more details head here.
