3 Podcasts For Creative Entrepreneurs

Until early 2015 I had never listened to a podcast! Can you believe it? Now that I have found some super amazing podcasts for creative entrepreneurs I can’t believe it took me so long to get into them!

If you’ve also never listened to a podcast before I’m about to tell you why you should race on over to iTunes and get subscribing.

The great thing about podcasts is I can listen when ever and where ever I like (my favourite thing is listening while I drive or do the dishes!) and I can subscribe to all of the shows I love without missing an episode because my phone will keep me up-dated with the latest recordings. It is seriously my new favourite way of getting educated and informed about business (because if I’m honest I’m a definite biz nerd these days).

Of course there are millions (or maybe even trillions) of podcasts out there not just related to business. You can search the plethora of topics (think health, well-being, movies, TV shows, real estate and more) via the iTunes categories if biz podcasts aren’t your thing. (May I recommend the Mamamia Podcast Network for starters – winning content covering all aspects of life!)

Now, I’m no expert but I have been listening to at least one podcast a night before bed, so here’s a short list covering 3 of my favourite podcasts for creative entrepreneurs, and the best thing… these podcasts are all run by Aussie women! #AustraliaForTheWin. Gotta love that!

The Blog To Profit Show

I’m a serious fan of Alice Nicholls and The Blog To Profit Show. Alice is the founder of The Whole Daily – an online blog/resource for inspiration and information on how to live a healthy life. She is also a biz coach, mentor, nutritionist, mum AND the founder of Blog To Profit .

Blog To Profit is online training course helping small businesses and bloggers profit from their blogs. Alice has managed to create consistent income from not only one successful blog, but two, so she’s pretty much a legend in my eyes.

Her podcast is super informative and I always find myself nodding furiously through her interviews with other incredible entrepreneurs from all across the world.

She seriously knows her stuff when it comes to marketing your blog/business and is so generous with sharing her very detailed tips to better grow your blog online.

If you haven’t heard of Alice Nicholls I highly recommend checking her out – I promise you won’t be disappointed.

The Merrymaker Sisters – #MerryBiz

You’ve probably heard of the Merrymaker Sisters if you’re into a bit of clean baking and finding ways of making naughty sweet treats not so naughty because these girls are Queens of the healthy kitchen!

Emma and Carla Papas are not only amazing at cooking  and sharing drool-worthy recipes, they are amazing at sharing business advice through their #MerryBiz podcast!

I’ve been tuning in to #MerryBiz for a few months now and I dead-set love what these girls bring to the table (or airwaves…?). The MM Sisters not only interview freakin’ inspiring business people from all across the world who are very generous at sharing the secrets to their successes, but the  girls themselves share SO much information about how they’ve managed to grow their business online.

Emma and Carla are like fireballs of energy and will make you feel up-beat and positive when you listen in. It’s actually kind of hard to imagine that they could possibly have a bad day because they speak so positively about life and business and it is seriously refreshing.

For health, food and business advice be sure to subscribe to #Merrybiz!

Sarah Jensen – Rock Your Goals

Another golden Aussie female blazing the way for other biz bosses out there is Sarah Jensen with her podcast Rock Your Goals.

Sarah is an online business coach, write and speaker and her Rock Your Goals podcast is real, raw and super easy to listen to. She recently shared a fabulous interview with a friend (Amy Mackenzie from Designing Her Life) where they literally just chatted casually, while recording, and I actually felt a part of the conversation.

Sarah discusses so many truths when it comes to business particularly how so many of us are lacking confidence in business life and I’ve had many an “ah-ha” moment while listening to her speak.

Sarah will give you a gentle nudge while sharing words of wisdom and ways to “rock your goals” in business and in life.

    Hi Ellie,
Oh some different podcasts here I need to download 🙂
Mums with hustle is another good one, it’s about creating an online business around your family. There’s been a lot of great interviews about how a lot of these small businesses started – which I love. Cos I’m in the startup phase and it really resonates with me at Te moment. Heaps of good tips whether you have an online or service based business!

Hi Ellie, thanks for the info on Sarah Jensen, I recently listened to her Ep 50 – social media that’s effective and fun with Sophie Wood. Loved it and found it reinforced quite a bit of what i had learnt from Sophie Hansen’s My Open Kitchen E-course. I look forward to listening to a few more of Sarah’s. Take care, Ann
